How qualified are your instructors?
Some test preparation companies brag about their instructors’ test scores. In our experience, however, receiving a 99th percentile in math or critical reading does not guarantee that you can teach others. At Swyft, we recruit instructors with extensive, usually university, teaching experience because of the practical skills and knowledge they already possess. In addition, we only hire instructors who hold advanced degrees (Ph.D., M.D., J.D.) or are advanced degree candidates. We feel that this experience, coupled with their exceptional test scores and our formal training program, ensures that every instructor provides his or her students with a rigorous and effective course. Indeed, Swyft believes that our instructors represent one of our strongest assets – and our past students have resoundingly agreed!
Do you have your own proprietary materials like Kaplan or Princeton Review?
Yes. Upon enrollment, every student receives a course packet of curricular insights and homework assignments as well as access to the Swyft Online Resource Center, where they will find additional resources and exercises to complete in preparation for their exam.All students should know, however, that Swyft does not believe in having students take scored non-ETS diagnostics. In our experience, non-ETS diagnostics are not accurate indicators of student success or performance, which is why we have students take only ETS exams.
What materials come with the course?
Your course tuition covers the cost of all materials, except, of course, for office supplies – so please bring your own pencil and notebook! On the first day of class, students receive a course reader that includes test prep strategies, curriculum, and homework assignments; a course textbook that includes approximately 1000 real test questions; and access to the Swyft Online Resource Center, in which you’ll find supplementary resources and problems for your respective test.
Why do your classes cost less?
Our classes cost less than those at companies such as Kaplan or Princeton Review because we know test preparation doesn’t have to wipe out your bank account, especially if you’re a college student working multiple jobs just to make ends meet. We also know that most test preparation courses overcharge their clients. Companies such as Kaplan and Princeton Review take advantage of our inherent belief that the higher the price tag, the higher the value. This, however, is not always the case.At Swyft, we are able to charge less because of how we have structured our company. Unlike larger companies that must contend with the overhead resulting from renting commercial space, staging national advertising campaigns or paying multi-million dollar executives, Swyft can afford to provide students with top-notch instructors and focused curriculum.
Do you have a score improvement guarantee?
Test preparation consumes a lot of time – and money – which is why we so frequently hear this question. Students, faced with the growing selectiveness of graduate or professional school admissions, want the assurances that come with a 200 or 300 point score guarantee.
That said, students should remember that success preparation for a standardized exam is an active, rather than a passive, process. Thus, while we do not offer a money-back guarantee, we do guarantee that we will commit ourselves to helping all those who remain committed throughout the duration of the course.

The free repeat is only valid for the same course (i.e. if you took you a GRE course, you can repeat the GRE course; you cannot apply the free repeat to a GMAT course, and vice versa)

- The free repeat is only valid for the next available session that is not already full, and must be used at that time, or it will become invalid. If the next available course is full, then the repeat can be applied towards the first available course thereafter.
